ASHA

TalkTools

PROMPT Institute
This type of treatment involves using dynamic tactile cues (paired with verbal and visual cues) to stimulate speech production in children who have difficulty articulating specific sounds. PROMPT may also be used with children who have a motor-based speech disorders, such as developmental apraxia of speech.
ICDL
The Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders is an organization whose mission is to improve the care of infants, children and families with special needs. ICDL provides a framework called the DIR®/Floortime™ Model that Stephanie combines into her therapy. Floortime assists parents on improving their child’s language while simultaneously promoting healthy overall emotional and intellectual functioning.
